Good food and service, disappointed that when we were seated we were given pita and a small cucumber salad but no hummus or pickels... to me an Israeli grill should always straight away give you pita hummus and pickels to snack while waiting for your order. The waiter was courteous and took care of any special orders, and offered helpful suggestions.
It's a spacious restaurant, old furniture. There's only few choices on the menu. The cheapest main dish is $30. I got french fries and rice with the shawarma. It tastes dry and pretty much no taste. The restaurant doesn't make any effort to serve food close to that price. Go next door and pay a reasonable price.
Awesome food
Amazing food with subtle flavorings the pleased the tastebuds, while the portions filled and satisfying the stomach. The service was excellent with fun individuals who knew their restaurants foods well. The staff had brilliantly colorful personalities, and were filled with good humor. Atmosphere was perfect for a nice family meal or a private date. I hope to go back the next time I have a chance.
The food was not great and not bad but what makes this a no go is how much they charge you for 'this mediocre food, the minimum entree dish is $30 and it goes all the way to $55 and if this was not enough of overcharge they write in fine small print in the menu that 18% tip is required!
The food was fresh and delicious. A little pricey but worth it. Good service. A.C. was very weak. They had fans on. Ugh.
skip the shawarma, go for the baby chicken and schnitzel
Went there with a big group. Food was delicious. We were very impressed with their service as well. All around great experience and extremely nice and accommodating resturaunt. Such a treat! Fantastic family owned operation.
Service was amazing and food was yummy!! Really nice ppl there and was very pleasant experience. Donno why anyone would give it any less!! Would definitely recommend if you're in AC!
tradition food, best service
Awesome service delicious yummy food!!!!!!
The pricing is the major fact that not many customers are there. Two small size snitzels and they charge $30 + 18% tips required.
Good food. Great people here
Food is delicious, very clean place.
A little expensive for those who are really looking for kosher in Atlantic City
The service was excellent and the portion sizes were big. We had a wonderful time and would definitely come back! Thank you Isaac.
Two starts because at least there is a kosher restaurant but the service sucked! Get ready to spend hours and hours and hours and hours just waiting for your food!
Interesting that the vast majority of reviews are either 1 star or 4 or 5 stars with generic copy.
The place empty food was okay, Price extremely expensive plus You have to pay %18 tips
Excellent food .fresh kosher products original mediteraneen and French cuisine
Very tasty food. The owner is welcoming and most importantly bought I accidentally brought him another $ 5 and he told me I made a mistake. Well done
The food is Israeli grill style and it's pretty good and the portions are good sized but a little expensive the decor is dated but there the only game in town be prepared to wait a while but eat some fresh pitas while you do
The food is very good. One thing is really not understood: if you charge such a high price, better give more on the plate. Overall good service and food tastes good. AC kosher restaurant, can't expect more.
This place is temporarily closed down
i was so full. the place has a nice atmosphere. this place has many good reviews for a reason.
Awsome food great place
Great food, easy ambiance. Overall a great meal.
Food is fine. Average I'd say. But the menu was tiny, not a lot of options, and the portions were about average size. But here's the kicker. The food was incredibly overpriced. I got the schwarma, which did taste fine, but it cost me 37$! They also messed up on my payment, and refused to fix it. This could be expected from some shady takeout store, but this was the most expensive restaurant I've ever been to. I kind of expected slightly more professionalism. It's obvious that there are no other kosher stores around so they're able to get away with this, but it's really not okay. Very dissatisfied and would not recommend to a friend.
I went to this restaurant today. And I was very unhappy. There was one guy, he was the host, the waiter for every single table and the cook. It was EXTREMELY OVERPRICED. The food was not fresh and he had the nerve to tell me it was freshly made, I am not an idiot we all heard the microwave beep and him coming out with our plates 20 seconds later. I’m very unhappy. And I am not planning on going back any time .
A casual restaurant serving delicious kosher food at reasonable prices. Efficient and friendly service. Highly recommend.
Food was amazing! fresh food and the service was excellent family owned place would recommend going if your in Atlantic city. Everyone was very nice and it was a clean atmosphere.
We ate here Sunday night and this place is awesome! The food was really delicious and everything was so fresh. We really enjoyed everything we had very much. Also - we got there just after the kitchen had closed but they said we could stay and they served us a lovely dinner. They were super nice about it and didn't make us feel rushed at all. The place is also very big and well kept so it's a nice place to sit. We highly recommend this place and we're lucky to have a nice restaurant in AC!
$40 for a plate of shnizel says it all..
The Restaurant for the most part is typical nothing fancy but the prices are mind blowing all the entree's are minimum of $29 dollars and if you share them with anyone it is an extra $10 dollars if they don't get an entree. Being how its pretty much the only kosher restaurant within 15 min or so where else you going to go?Food was pretty decent though. and there happened to be a blizzard outside. i will only go back if i do well in the casino's
Nice place
Nice place good service with a smile and very good fresh food for a good price I am decently coming back
Run out of business. Place is closed!
Large portions, good food and friendly service
service was sincerely warm and considerate. food was delicious with a home made flavor to it-no artificial stuff. prices are very fair considering that it's in a location lacking sufficient amount of kosher food. we enjoyed ourselves immensely and were showered with blessings from the owner when we left.
Horrible service
The food is okThe price is high I don’t think I come back
3 hour dinner. Took an hour to order another hour to bring it. Not worth the $35 I paid.
The restaurant is clean and the food is good but nowhere near what they charge. Two small slices of schnitzel for $35? Even midtown NY is a lot cheaper. In addition the have a mandatory tip of 18%. Not unusual, however don’t calculate the 18% on the tax part. OK place but way overpriced!!!!!
Good food a little pricey
Amazing service and the food is spectacular! Ask for the specials, all of them are made with love
